Why should you take part in the IDF Ice Diver course?
Diving in winter, when lakes are frozen over, can be great fun. Air bubbles trapped in the ice and the rays of the winter sun passing through it make the most interesting and enjoyable diving happen very shallow, just below the surface of the ice. The use of special procedures makes such dives very safe and allows them to be performed together with a well-coordinated team, where everyone follows the same rules. During the IDF Ice Diver training, you will learn how to plan an ice dive and organise all the rather complicated logistics so that your diving trip is also fun. This training is also an opportunity to experience diving under a physical ceiling in very controlled and pleasant conditions.
