Why should you take part in the IDF Scuba Diving Instructor course?

The IDF Scuba Diving Instructor course is a comprehensive programme that provides participants with extensive skills in autonomous teaching of recreational diving. Course graduates receive a wide range of qualifications that allow them to enter the diving training market and pursue their professional development. Extensive knowledge of the didactics of teaching beginners and intermediate divers, as well as teaching speciality dives, makes them competent dive instructors at the recreational level.

What do you need to get started?

 

  • Minimum age: 18
  • IDF Divemaster certificate
  • IDF First Aid Response certificate (valid for 2 years)
  • IDF Night Diver certificate
  • IDF Navigation Diver certificate
  • IDF Nitrox Diver certificate
  • Minimum of 100 logged dives after obtaining the Open Water Diver certification, including at least 30 dives deeper than 30 metres and 30 dives in difficult environmental conditions (e.g. night dives, dives in currents, poor visibility, water temperature below 10°C)
  • Health condition allowing participation in the course
