Why should you take part in the IDF Assistant Instructor course?
The IDF Assistant Instructor course is a supervised instructor course, which means that you will acquire extensive pedagogical knowledge and practical skills on how to efficiently and safely conduct classroom and practical training sessions. Upon completion of the IDF Assistant Instructor course, you will be qualified to provide training under the supervision of an IDF instructor.
What do you need to get started?
- Minimum age: 18
- IDF Divemaster certificate
- IDF First Aid Response certificate (valid for 2 years)
- Minimum 100 logged dives after obtaining the Open Water Diver certification, including at least 30 at a depth greater than 30 metres and 30 performed in difficult environmental conditions (e.g. at night, in currents, in poor visibility, in water below 10°C
- Health condition allowing participation in the course
