What does the course look like?
The course is divided into three parts that complement each other and gradually build the knowledge and skills necessary for diving.
- By reading the manual and participating in theory lectures, you will learn, among other things, how being underwater and breathing compressed air affects your body, how to use diving equipment and what you can do to plan and perform your dives safely.
- In pool-like waters (or simply in a pool), in safe, comfortable and controlled conditions, you will acquire skills that will be useful later when diving in open water.
- Open water diving will be the crowning achievement of all your previous lessons. You will have the opportunity to dive to a depth of 20 metres, putting your newly acquired skills to use in real-life conditions.
What do you need to get started?
- Be at least 15 years old
- Be able to swim sufficiently
- A medical certificate confirming that your health allows you to participate in the course
