Andrei Nosenko

Andrei is IDF Cave and Technical Instructor, the owner of diving shop Cavediving.ge, co-founder of the speleo club Caving Georgia. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering and works as a research assistant in the Geomorphology Division of the Vakhushti Bagrationi Institute of Geography. A dry caver and speleologist by training, he combines field research with practical exploration of karst systems across Georgia.

He began his diving career in 2019, became a Divemaster in 2020 and a Diving Instructor in 2023. He routinely performs solo CCR cave dives in the harsh conditions of the water-filled caves and multi-sump systems of Georgia, operating a side mount CCR Flex2 for those penetrations. As co-founder of Caving Georgia he has organized numerous caving and cave-diving expeditions throughout the country, leading pioneering exploration and diving into previously unexplored systems, with multiple discoveries to his name. His work blends systematic speleological survey, mapping and hands-on underwater exploration.

Beyond caves, he has a long history in the urban exploration scene and is a retired base jumper and paraglider pilot, bringing a broad background in high-risk outdoor activities to his caving and diving practice.
