The training pathway for adaptive divers is presented in the form of a diagram. The pathway begins with the Junior Open Water Diver level, followed by the Scuba Diver level. From the Open Water Diver level onward, the full specialization pathway becomes available. After completing Open Water Diver, a diver can continue with specializations such as Underwater Navigator, Dry Suit Diver, Full Face Mask Diver and DPV / Underwater Scooter Diver. At the same stage, divers may also complete the core specializations Enriched Air Nitrox Diver, Night Diver and Peak Performance Buoyancy. Once these specializations have been completed, the diver may qualify for the Advanced Open Water Diver level. The next and final core level is Deep Diver. After achieving Advanced Open Water Diver, a diver may become a Surface Assistant Instructor and can then progress further to become an Underwater Assistant Instructor.
