Why take a course?
Navigation Scout is a specialized course that can only be completed in safe conditions such as swimming pools or pool-like waters. Children who are under the age to approach the Junior courses can participate in Scout courses. All classes and materials are adapted to the age of the participants and are intended to enable them to acquire new knowledge and new skills through play.
What will you learn?
During the classes, participants learn the principles of natural navigation, as well as making and reading sketches and dive site maps. During the exercises they are supposed to make their own maps of dive sites prepared by the instructor.
What do you need to start?
- Minimum age: 8 years
- Sufficient swimming ability
- Health condition to participate in the course
- IDF Master Scout or equivalent certificate
What is the course?

Upon completion of the training, you will receive an internationally recognised certificate confirming your qualifications. It is a plastic card with a unique number and watermark. In addition, you will have lifelong access to an individual panel on the IDF website, where your certificate will always be available in electronic form - in case you ever forget to take the original with you for diving.
