Why take a course?
The Rescue Scout course is another specialization that allows you to gain new skills and broaden your diving horizons with very important rescue skills. The classes are tailored to the age and abilities of the participants so that they can learn and have fun at the same time.
What will you learn?
In this energetic and dynamic activity participants learn to plan their dives and call for help if something goes wrong. They also learn what are the risks associated with diving. In the water, young trainees learn how to act if their mask or fins are lost, practise the emergency drop of the weight belt, as well as helping their partner – from sharing the gas through towing to the surface.
What do you need to start?
- Minimum age: 8 years
- Sufficient swimming ability
- Health condition to participate in the course
- IDF Master Scout or equivalent certificate
What is the course?
Upon completion of the training, you will receive an internationally recognised certificate confirming your qualifications. It is a plastic card with a unique number and watermark. In addition, you will have lifelong access to an individual panel on the IDF website, where your certificate will always be available in electronic form - in case you ever forget to take the original with you for diving.
